Job description

Hamilton Appointments are delighted to be working with our prestigious and innovative global client, based within their Paris Office, in France. You will be working within a rapidly growing, market competitive company that encourages initiatives and leadership. As the HR Generalist (People Business Partner) supporting our clients' French office, you will be a central part of the success of their team having a direct impact on their ability to retain and grow the best talent to build the company. You will report directly to the Manager People Business Partner EMEA and be the dotted line to the Director, Global Payroll.

Duties will include:

  • Strategic partnership with the business by being fully embedded within your region by understanding current business needs and by anticipating future requirements.
  • In partnership with the centres of expertise, identify innovative solutions that positively impact the employee experience.
  • Influence lasting change and play a critical role in enhancing leadership effectiveness, including the enablement of business leaders to cultivate an effective leadership pipeline.
  • Drive employee related initiatives with your communication, coaching and influencing skills.
  • Take on any additional special projects as required by your client groups or P&C team.
  • Help build organisational health by providing insightful data to guide decision making and proactive solutions.

  • Bring your expertise in HR processes and policies in France & Swiss.
  • Implement new benefits and best practises in France & Swiss.
  • Ensure all matters related to payroll are handled correctly, effectively, timely, and according to the code of conduct.
  • French & Swiss payroll knowledge: Management of payroll and associated benefits (DPAE, Swiss pension system, mutualinsurance, provident fund, lunch cheques, absences etc.)
  • Coordinate taxes at source monthly statements to Tax Authorities, related bills handling and contacts with Tax Authorities.
  • Manage sickness and accidents loss of income indemnities, coordinating with HRBPs and external insurances.
  • Assisting Director of Payroll with auditors' requests (both internal and external).
  • Be the point of contact to facilitate payroll troubleshooting for a wide range of payroll related questions.

The successful candidate will have experience within a HR Generalist and People Business Partner function within a Tech environment along with comprehensive understanding of French and Swiss Labour law (complex dismissals) and experiencein payroll and benefits.

This position is being offered on a permanent contract with a starting salary depending on experience, plus some amazing company benefits.
