Principal Air Quality Consultant - Bedfordshire - Permanent

We are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and highly respected environmental consultancy to recruit a Senior/Principal Air Quality Consultant. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional who enjoys complex project work, variety, and genuine autonomy in their role.

My client works across a broad mix of sectors and is looking for someone who can take a lead on odour and air quality assessments, manage both desk-based and field investigations, and produce high-quality technical reports. If you're someone who enjoys problem-solving, thrives in a technical environment, and is confident working with industry standards, this could be the perfect next step.

The Role:

• Leading odour and air quality assessments
• Carrying out on-site monitoring and sampling programmes
• Producing clear, detailed and accurate technical reports
• Ensuring compliance with BS EN 13725:2022 and ISO 17025:2017
• Providing expert advice and practical solutions to clients
• Collaborating with internal teams to support project delivery

What Our Client Is Looking For:

• Strong background in air quality, odour assessment or environmental consultancy
• Knowledge of standards such as 13725:2022 and 17025:2017
• Excellent analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills
• High-quality written and verbal communication
• Practical on-site monitoring/sampling experience (desirable)
• Experience within odour consultancy (desirable)
• MCERTS Level 2 Team Leader qualification (desirable)
• Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or similar
• Full UK Driving Licence
