Production Planning Analyst - Milton Keynes - Permanent

Our client is looking for a Production Planning Analyst to join their Production Operations team, playing a key role in aligning regional demand with supply and driving smarter vendor performance management. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data but also thrives in a hands-on operational environment.

What you'll be doing:
- Translating validated demand into Purchase Orders within SAP
- Consolidating and analysing regional demand to provide EMEA forecast and fill rate visibility
- Partnering with Product and Sourcing teams to validate forecasts and adjust plans
- Analysing vendor delivery performance including OTD, lead times and fill rates
- Developing dashboards and KPIs to evaluate vendor reliability
- Supporting vendor business reviews with structured reporting and trend analysis
- Supporting factory onboarding and new system/process training
- Designing and maintaining EMEA capacity fill rate reporting
- Automating and enhancing reporting tools for improved planning transparency
- Delivering clear, structured reports with actionable recommendations
- Providing ad hoc reporting support to senior leadership when required
What you'll bring:
- Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical modelling capability
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle or similar)
- Experience using BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Strong data visualisation and reporting skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
- Confident stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience within a Supply Chain or Production environment preferred
This is a permanent position with a starting salary of £30,000 per annum + bonus, along with some fantastic benefits, including:
