Project Designer - Bedfordshire - Permanent
We're working on behalf of our client to appoint a Project Designer for a key hire within their growing team.
This is a hands-on role offering full ownership of bespoke metalwork projects, from concept design through to installation, across high-end residential and commercial environments.
The Role
- Lead design and technical development
- Manage projects end-to-end (design fabrication install)
- Work closely with architects, contractors, and clients
- Deliver bespoke, design-led metalwork that actually gets built
About You
- Experience in architectural metalwork or bespoke fabrication
- Strong CAD skills (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)
- Proven experience managing projects, not just designing them
- Confident, client-facing, and comfortable working autonomously
- Practical mindset with a focus on buildable solutions
