Part Time Retail Assistant / Merchandiser - Watford, Hertfordshire

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Retail Assistant / Merchandiser to join their team in Watford, Hertfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to take the next step in their retail career and be part of a growing team.

The successful candidate will be an integral part of the team, responsible for providing a first-class customer service experience and helping to ensure that the merchandise department runs smoothly and efficiently.

You will be working Thursday to Saturday 10am - 4pm, with flexibility to cover additional hours when required. The salary for this role is £11.50 - £12.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting customers with their shopping needs, including advice on product selection.
• Processing payments accurately and efficiently.
• Maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Assisting with the day-to-day running of the department.
• Undertaking stock replenishment tasks.
• Receiving deliveries and ensuring stock is put away correctly.
• Assisting with the display of products in accordance with store standards.
• Complying with health and safety regulations.
• Organising promotional events.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Previous retail experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• The ability to work well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• An eye for detail.
• Good numerical skills.
