Hamilton Appointments are pleased to be working with their Bedford based client, who are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager.

Job Summary:

• Manage staff productivity and performance
• Recruitment and induction of warehouse staff and drivers
• Ensure quality and efficiency of movement and storage of goods
• Maintain adequate stock levels and records
• Control the selection and preparation of stock for orders
• Plan and monitor the dispatch of customer orders
• Manage the routing and tracking of delivery vehicles
• Operate within COSHH guidelines
• Cost control
• Warehouse project work

This role will be suitable for someone who has previous warehouse management experience coupled with a FLT Licence (not essential). You will be working within a collaborative team, so strong communication skills and a positive work ethic will be key. Experience in fleet management would be an advantage, along with process management, stock control and management, quality systems and defect prevention.

The working week is Monday to Friday, 45 hours. This is a permanent position, offering a salary of 30,000 - 32,000 per annum.
