Hamilton Appointments are working closely with their Bedford based client, who are currently seeking experienced Welders, on a permanent contract.

As a member of the team you will be physically fit with experience of working with stainless steel fabrication / welding, paricularly TIG.

Duties will include:

• Completion of daily checks, ensuring all equipment is properly set up, no defects, missing parts, etc. and the correct PPE is worn.

• Working with various materials including stainless steel and aluminium and varying thickness.

• Ensuring all jobs are completed in a timely manner whilst adhering to health and safety requirements.

• Ensuring a clean and tidy work area is maintained.

• Produce products to the expected standard and achieve quality checks.

Working hours are 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 7am - 4pm and Friday 7am - 12pm.

This position is being offered on a permanent basis with a competitive salary, along with 25 days holiday per year plus Bank Holidays. They also offer a Company Pension Scheme and Private Healthcare is available after a qualifying period.
