Job description

Welder - Kempston, Bedford

Our client is looking for an experienced Welder to join their team in Kempston, Bedford. The role will be full time, and the successful applicant will be responsible for welding and fabricating work as part of the production team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a passion for welding and fabrication and is looking for a role that offers stability and friendly working environment.

The Welder will be required to use a range of welding and fabrication processes, including TIG and MIG. They will also be required to operate various power tools, as well as manual tools. This is a hands-on role, and the successful applicant will be expected to work to tight deadlines and produce high-quality work. They will be working as part of a small team, and will need to be able to work independently and show initiative.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a good level of experience in welding and be able to work efficiently and accurately. They must also have a good understanding of health and safety regulations. They must also be able to work to deadlines and be able to take direction and work well in a team.

The salary for this role is £26,000 - £28,000 per annum, and the successful applicant will also benefit from onsite parking, a pension scheme and life cover. Working 36 hours per week, with an early finish on Fridays.
